April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began the guitar and piano lessons in seventh grade. This sparked her interest. In the seventh grade she began to take guitar and piano lessons. It sparked her interest in writing songs. The year she turned 14 was when she devoted a great deal of time to making song lyrics and working on her music. Then she began to take trips to write with father, who lived in NY in New York and LA. April featured other topics in her track"Take my Hand. These topics were meant for the friends of hers who struggled with issues such as peer pressure disabilities or even teen suicidal ideas. Lockhart works in partnerships at the well-known cosmetics brand Ilia and is also an influencer in the lifestyle industry who has a growing fan base. The disability she has is part of her persona, however it is not the whole image. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't cover up her disability, but it does not concentrate solely on it. The message is? This is the message That we all carry multiple identities and are far more complicated than we believe we are. Lockhart through a video messages from his Nashville home, states I don't want my physical appearance to define my character. I'm greater than the physical person I am. My day-today life is not dependent on it. I go about my regular, everyday life and find myself solutions for problems. However, I also consider it to be a vital component of my life. Lockhart who is an source of inspiration for anyone who wants to be self-accepting she is on a long process to attain it. Still she admits she's gone through periods of being uncomfortable with her body, at times, not being confident in wearing certain types of clothing that showed off her arms. It's her choice to wear what she'd like, and happily shares pictures of her wearing these clothes. To her, self-love was an extended trip. It's the same for everybody regardless of their insecurity.
